The Laundry Fam is a wholehearted supporter and advocate for celebrating all cultures and communities, so we’re excited AF that our girl Sky, AKA, Soju Gang will be turning up the party for NAIDOC Week in July.
For those of you needing a quick brush up on what NAIDOC Week is and means, it’s a nationwide celebration each year in honour of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The march is happening on Friday July 7th + is a big part of this celebration. It’s a chance for Australians of all walks of life + heritage to get involved and show their support…ending with a big party in Fed Square, where you’ll catch a set by Soju Gang.
For info and details for the March, head to the FB Event. The afterparty kicks off in Fed square Midday-3pm. So come thru, get your day-party on, celebrate and support our indigenous brothers and sisters.
Then, if you’re VIP enough to get a ticket, you can catch Soju Gang again at the NAIDOC Ball, Saturday July 8th. #fancyAF
There’s a whole heap of other events happening around Vic + Melbourne throughout the week, plus ways you can volunteer and show your support, which you can find out more about here.
Hope to see y’all @ Fed Square, July 7th fam.
